About the founder

Desmond Lewis the director and founder of A. Lewis Consultancy. Desmond has extensive experience as a counsellor and as a project manager. Desmond has worked in both voluntary services as well as working alongside Clinical Commissioning Groups, Local Authorities in various settings including crisis units, hospitals, practice, hostels, outreach, courts and criminal justice and in care coordinated settings, including managing offending behaviour.

Providing specialist services for individuals with mental health and drug or alcohol challenges and through this began the understanding of trajectory from childhood to adult trauma and social challenges. This has formed the basis of the programme working with children and their families.
